Welcome back to the latest edition of Good News Friday.
We were delighted to welcome so many parents, guardians and students to Cluny last night for our open night. Thank you to all who joined us for the evening. Well done to all of our students who helped out during this event, we are very proud of each of you!
The sixth years took part in their retreat today with a trip to Glendalough. We hope they all enjoy this trip.
Today, we were excited to put two pumpkin plants, grown from seed, into the new raised beds across from the Art room. TY students have named them Federico and Polyann!
Students in fifth year took part in their retreat this week as well where they took part in games, meditation and ice breaker challenges with their peers.
We were delighted to have Maeve join us on Monday from Poetry Ireland to run a haiku workshop for our first years. Students got inspired on a nature walk before writing their very own haikus. A lovely morning of creative writing!
The latest addition to the Cluny Polytunnel is tomato plants kindly gifted to us by a parent! Thank you, Annmarie.
Three of our fifth-year students were recently away in Avoca Manor completing their Ember Training. Well done!
