Upgrades are regularly carried out to ensure the highest standards.

Facilities in the main school include a Concert Hall, several Music Rooms, a designated Sewing Room, an Oratory and nineteen teacher based classrooms. In 2005 the school undertook a further major building extension which comprised the building of three new classrooms, a Study Hall, a new School Library, a second Home Economics kitchen and some additional administration offices. At the same time, a major refurbishment of the older building was undertaken. Upgrading work was carried out on two school laboratories, the Home Ec kitchen and major restoration and repair work was undertaken to modernise the building and ensure that it conforms to the highest safety standards. Since the summer of 2008 this upgrading work has been continuing with the refurbishment of student toilet blocks included among other summer works. In all over €8M has been spent by the school Board of Management and the Trustees on school refurbishment over the last ten years.

The Trustees and the Board remain committed to the development of school facilities.
